Job Summary

Manage fire protection projects from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with contracts, budgets, and technical specifications. Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities to deliver safe, timely, and quality fire safety solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management and site supervision to control costs, deploy manpower, and ensure contract compliance for all assigned jobs
  • Conduct site meetings to monitor project progress and protect Chubb’s contractual interests, ensuring accurate documentation of meeting minutes
  • Liaise with architects and consultants to provide precise updates on work progress, technical compliance, and variation claims
  • Manage procurement and timely delivery of materials aligned with site progress and project budget
  • Prepare and issue project documentation including variation orders, extension of times, test procedures, purchase orders, and operations and maintenance manuals following ISO procedures
  • Coordinate manpower and system readiness to facilitate successful inspections with authorities and site representatives
  • Provide timely information to drafting teams for preparation of shop and penetration drawings
  • Coordinate site activities with all parties to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
  • Oversee rectification works to verify compliance with contract specifications
  • Perform additional duties in Fire Safety or other departments as assigned

Required competencies and certifications

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in fire protection within the construction industry, including experience working with LTA
  • Proficient in computer use and effective team collaboration
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively at all organizational levels

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Class 3 driving license (added advantage, supports site mobility but not essential for core duties)
