We are seeking an experienced and professional Biostatistics Editor to join our editorial team for our journal. If you have a strong understanding of biostatistics, excellent editing skills, and a rigorous research background, we welcome you to apply for this position. This is a full-time editor position based in Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate the statistical methods, results, and data presentation in submitted manuscripts to ensure compliance with publication standards and journal requirements.
• Coordinate communication with authors, reviewers, and other editors to ensure the smooth progress of the review process and the quality and integrity of published research.
• Provide professional guidance on the application of biostatistical methods to ensure that statistical analyses meet scientific standards.
• Participate in strategic planning and development of the journal's content, staying informed about the latest developments in biostatistics research.
  
  

Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of academic editing experience in biostatistics or a related field, with familiarity with the academic publishing process.
• In-depth understanding of biostatistical methods, data analysis, and result interpretation, with the ability to independently review statistical analyses.
• Proficiency with common statistical software, such as R, SAS, SPSS, GraphPad Prism, MedCalc, etc.
• Strong team collaboration skills, excellent English communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to engage in academic writing and communication.
