About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Kubernetes Platform Engineer to support the deployment, operation, maintenance, and optimization of our Kubernetes-based training and computing clusters. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring platform stability, improving automation and monitoring capabilities, managing cluster resources, and supporting business users through effective troubleshooting and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the deployment, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters and related infrastructure.
- Design, develop, and enhance monitoring, observability, and automation capabilities within the cluster management platform.
- Continuously improve cluster governance, operational efficiency, and platform reliability.
- Analyze and troubleshoot issues across container platforms, Linux operating systems, networking, storage, and cluster services.
- Manage resource allocation and quotas for various business units within the cluster environment.
- Monitor resource utilization, perform capacity planning, and recommend infrastructure scaling strategies.
- Optimize Kubernetes components and integrations, including networking (CNI), storage (CSI), load balancing, and cluster security.
- Participate in on-call rotation and operational support duties, ensuring timely incident response and resolution.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and international teams to address technical issues and support business requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related fields.
- Strong Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system optimization skills.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language such as Python, Go, or Shell.
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core components.
- Hands-on experience deploying, managing, and optimizing Kubernetes environments in production.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes ecosystem components, including:
- Container Networking Interface (CNI)
- Container Storage Interface (CSI)
- Load Balancers (LB)
- Monitoring and Logging solutions
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
Mandatory Language Requirements
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English are required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and international partners in both languages.
- Experience supporting cross-regional or multilingual teams is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building, operating, or optimizing large-scale AI, machine learning, or high-performance computing (HPC) training clusters.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerized infrastructure.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
- Experience with observability platforms, monitoring systems, and incident management processes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
