Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinic Assistant and Front Desk / Reception role based in Kuala Lumpur. The role involves greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner. Daily tasks include scheduling and confirming appointments, maintaining accurate patient records, handling basic billing or payment procedures, and coordinating with medical staff to ensure smooth clinic operations. The Clinic Assistant helps prepare consultation rooms, supports basic non-clinical patient care activities as directed by healthcare professionals, and ensures cleanliness and organization in reception and waiting areas. This position also requires managing incoming documents, assisting with registration forms, and maintaining confidentiality and compliance with clinic policies.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Candidates should possess Receptionist Duties skills, including front desk management, appointment scheduling, and handling phone and in-person inquiries.
  • Candidates should possess Medical Terminology knowledge to support accurate communication with healthcare professionals and maintain patient records.
  • Candidates should possess Patient Care skills to assist with non-clinical support, provide clear guidance, and ensure a comfortable experience for visitors.
  • Candidates should have good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Candidates should be proficient in basic computer and office software, including electronic scheduling and patient management systems.
  • Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; previous experience in a clinic, hospital, or customer-facing role is an advantage. Flu
