Responsibilities
Looking for locals.
Key Accountabilities:
Set up and operate the Service Centre Kiosk at each TNB location within the assigned state(s)
Verify user identity and device eligibility before commencing configuration
Configure device enrolment into Microsoft Intune via Company Portal or Autopilot
Join devices to Microsoft Entra ID (Hybrid or Cloud-native as per deployment guide)
Set up and validate Windows Hello for Business (PIN and biometric authentication)
Register and configure FIDO2 security keys where applicable
Register Microsoft Authenticator for passwordless phone sign-in
Configure Passkeys on eligible devices
Guide users through Cisco Duo MFA registration if not pre-enrolled
Validate successful passwordless sign-in before releasing the device to the user
Log each configuration against the user record (name/ID, device type, date, status)
Escalate complex technical blockers to the Technical Lead immediately
Collaborate with Remote Support Centre for absent users and redirections
Submit daily progress reports to the Project Manager
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions during project closure
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune device enrolment and configuration
Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) device join and identity registration
Experience configuring Windows Hello for Business (PIN/biometric setup)
Basic knowledge of FIDO2 security keys and Microsoft Authenticator setup
Ability to follow detailed step-by-step operation manuals accurately
Comfortable working with Windows 10/11, iOS/iPadOS, macOS, and Android devices
Basic troubleshooting skills for device connectivity, compliance, and enrolment issues
Certifications:
MD-102: Endpoint Administrator (preferred)
MS-900 or AZ-900: Microsoft fundamentals (minimum baseline)
Soft Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for direct end-user interaction
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (required for user-facing communication)
Patient, process-driven, and able to handle high volumes efficiently
Ability to work independently under remote supervision
Comfortable with outstation deployment and travel across Malaysia
Experience Requirements:
Minimum 2 years of IT field support or endpoint configuration experience
Experience in at least one Microsoft 365 or Intune deployment project preferred
Experience dealing directly with end-users in a support or deployment capacity
Fresh graduates with strong Microsoft technical skills will be considered
