Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Science Park Penang, Malaysia. This role oversees the full spectrum of HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. The Human Resources Manager will develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that support organizational goals and comply with local employment regulations. Daily responsibilities include managing HR records, administering compensation and benefits, coordinating training and development initiatives, and supporting managers with workforce planning. The role also involves fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture and serving as a trusted point of contact for HR-related queries and conflict resolution.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Strong skills in HR policy development, compliance with Malaysian labor laws, and handling HR documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to design and implement training, development, and employee engagement programs that support organizational objectives.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in HRIS or HR-related software, and solid skills in Microsoft Office or similar productivity tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field; relevant HR certifications are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment is beneficial.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
