Role Overview
As a Marketing Executive, you will support the planning and execution of marketing activities for both client projects and internal company initiatives.
This is an execution-focused role within an agency environment. You will work closely with management, designers, videographers, content creators, and external partners to ensure projects are delivered smoothly, on time, and to a high standard.
The role is ideal for someone who enjoys marketing, content creation, social media, communication, and project coordination, and who wants hands-on exposure to real business and marketing projects.
You will receive guidance, training, and mentorship while developing your skills across marketing, branding, copywriting, project management, and client support.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content and Social Media
- Assist in developing monthly and campaign-based social media content calendars.
- Write captions, social media copy, and short-form marketing content.
- Research content ideas, trends, references, and audience interests.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, and organising content.
- Coordinate content production with designers, videographers, and other collaborators.
- Ensure content aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and project timelines.
- Support day-to-day management of social media output where required.
2. Marketing Support
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns.
- Conduct market research and competitor research.
- Support campaign implementation and coordination.
- Assist in preparing marketing reports, updates, and presentations.
- Help monitor campaign performance, results, and deliverables.
- Support the development of marketing ideas, execution plans, and content directions.
3. Project Coordination
- Support project timelines, task management, and internal follow-up.
- Coordinate with internal team members, freelancers, and external partners.
- Follow up on deliverables, approvals, and deadlines.
- Assist in organising meetings, content shoots, workshops, and events.
- Maintain project records, documentation, and working files.
- Ensure tasks are completed according to schedule and project expectations.
4. Client Communication and Coordination
- Assist in day-to-day client communication where required.
- Support follow-up on project updates, requirements, and deliverables.
- Help ensure smooth communication between internal teams and clients.
- Maintain a professional and responsive communication style.
5. Administrative and Operational Support
- Prepare meeting notes, action items, and internal updates.
- Assist in organising workshops, activations, and events.
- Maintain documentation, records, and project materials.
- Support management on ad hoc marketing, branding, and business-related projects.
- Assist with any other reasonable duties assigned from time to time.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
