1. Review drawing plans and prepare quantity needs

2. Estimate the quantity and costs of materials

3. Analyze costs for maintenance and additional construction needs

4. Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors

5. Act as a liaison between clients and site managers/engineers

6. Keep track of construction materials and inventory

7. Advise clients on improvements, strategies, and/or estimated costs

8. Prepare claims/certificate for contractors and subcontractors

9. Develop and maintain working relationships with contractors and subcontractors

10. Utilize software to calculate, record, and track inventory and estimates

11. Monitoring construction progress, adherence to safety regulations and managing the project within budget and time constraints

12.Managing and supervising on-site construction activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineer, construction engineering, management, or related field
• 2-3 years of general construction estimating experience, financial experience, construction experience, or related field
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office and AutoCad
• Able to analyze financial records and apply data to improved results
• Strong aptitude for numbers, spreadsheets, and financial reports
• Experienced at compiling and following strict budgets; strong estimating and financial analysis skills
• In-depth understanding of construction, materials, pricing, and industry
• Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions

Job Type: Full-time
