Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Scope:

  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Determine and assess resource requirements for construction projects
  • Oversee feasibility studies, technical designs, and project specifications
  • Lead and manage the construction team, including Engineer, Site supervisor and workers
  • Ensure compliance with construction safety standards and local regulations
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution
  • Monitor project budget and expenditures
  • Prepare and submit cost estimates, progress reports, and budgetary updates
  • Negotiate contracts and manage procurement of materials and equipment
  • Ensure that all construction work meets the required standards of quality
  • Perform site inspections and resolve any on-site issues
  • Ensure timely delivery of the project while maintaining quality benchmarks
  • Maintain clear communication with the client, providing regular updates on project progress
  • Manage conflicts and issues that arise between the construction team and stakeholders
  • Ensure all project documentation is up-to-date and properly filed
  • Ensure all construction work complies with safety regulations and legal requirements
  • Respond to emergencies and implement contingency plans.
  • Undertake any other duties assigned by management from time to time

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Civil, Construction, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years and above experiences in construction project management or a related role
  • Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD, or similar)
  • Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and timelines effectively
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations
  • Ability to visit construction sites and manage on-site tasks as needed
  • Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines
  • Able to attend to emergency call due to project and works needs beyond office hours
  • 6 working days
