Maintenance Engineer

Location: Singapore

Are you passionate about optimizing production processes, improving operational efficiency, and driving continuous improvement initiatives? We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team and play a key role in enhancing manufacturing performance and operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where your ideas and technical expertise will directly contribute to productivity improvements, cost savings, and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and improve plant operations to maximize efficiency, quality, and productivity.

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Lead and support Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects to reduce waste, improve yield, and enhance operational performance.

  • Analyze production data and develop solutions to improve equipment reliability and process stability.

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to achieve operational goals.

  • Support equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation, SOPs, and process standards.

  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and equipment-related issues.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related discipline

Experience in a manufacturing, production, or plant engineering environment

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Continuous Improvement methodologies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience with process optimization, equipment improvement, and production efficiency initiatives

Knowledge of manufacturing KPIs such as OEE, yield improvement, downtime reduction, and cycle time optimization

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification will be an added advantage
