Technical Manager – Primary Systems

Location: Singapore

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in High Voltage (HV) and Medium Voltage (MV) systems? Do you thrive in managing complex power infrastructure projects from inception to completion? If so, we would love to hear from you!

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering HV/MV primary system projects while ensuring compliance with technical, safety, quality, and commercial requirements. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end project execution for HV/MV electrical infrastructure projects

Oversee project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and scheduling

Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and authorities to ensure smooth project delivery

Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans

Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality requirements

Manage project documentation, contractual obligations, and stakeholder communications

Lead site meetings, progress reviews, and project reporting

Drive project completion within established timelines and budget targets

Requirements

Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline

Proven experience managing HV/MV primary systems projects

Strong knowledge of substations, switchgear, transformers, protection systems, and power distribution networks

Experience in project planning, cost control, and contract management

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with local regulations, safety requirements, and utility standards is an advantage
