Responsibilities:
Relationship Management:
- Establish good working relationships with key customers
- Understand and maintain contact details with customers
- Support business reviews with customers
- Regular telephone/Teams calls with customers
- Establish and maintain customer price updates & price file management
- Conduct regular reviews of customer margin to maintain profitability
Order Management:
- Manage and review critical part list for internal and external communications
- Part number creation
- Obtain up to date forecast information for key customers
- Process customer orders and ensure orders are progressed to support requirements
- Advise customer delivery dates on their Purchase Orders
- Analysis of customer schedules to ensure stock availability
- Support customer returns and raise credits as required
- Processing certification for spot orders
- Customer declarations (export) and creation of commercial invoices
- Creation and management of customer kits
- Creation of works orders for parts to be sent to platers, liaising with warehouse for despatch/receipt.
- Liaising with warehouse to ensure orders are despatched on time to your customers.
- Support AR department when needed to ensure outstanding invoices are paid.
Drive Growth:
- Work with customers to solicit opportunities for growth
- Handle Request For Quotations (RFQ) from customers
- Collaborate with sourcing department to establish optimal solutions to secure growth
- Negotiate with customers establishing pricing and lead times
Other Duties:
- Support the preparation of annual budgets
- Kanban/VMI set up and maintenance of Master File
- Regular Kanban/VMI reviews with key customers to identify any increase/decrease in usage, identify End of Life (EOL) parts and determine when parts become excess
- Any other duties as defined by management
Requirements:
- Good knowledge with Excel and managing data
- Intermediate knowledge/experience of Microsoft Office package including Excel.
- Ability to form strong relationships and maximise sales
