What The Role Is

This position focuses on developing and maintaining robust software applications for infrastructure automation, including critical infrastructure systems. The role involves designing automated provisioning solutions, configuration management systems, and deployment software whilst creating custom automation tools and reusable frameworks for infrastructure management.

What You Will Be Working On

• Develop APIs and integrations for efficient software architectures
• Implementing automated scaling solutions, and ensuring software quality through comprehensive code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to development standards.
• The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet both automation requirements and compliance standards.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Proven software development experience with particular focus on infrastructure automation and systems integration
• Strong proficiency in Python, .NET, and C# programming languages
• Experience with React for frontend development of automation tools
• Knowledge of API development, microservices architecture, and distributed systems design
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code principles and automation framework development
• Understanding of database technologies and data persistence layers for automation systems
• Experience with version control systems, software testing methodologies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable software solutions
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Knowledge of containerisation technologies and orchestration platform development
• Familiarity with security frameworks and secure coding practices for infrastructure software
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and message queuing systems
• Experience with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development practices
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and software delivery methodologies
