Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Manage and oversee structural steel construction projects from planning to completion.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Plan and monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, fabrication, delivery, and erection activities.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Review engineering drawings, method statements, and technical submissions.
  • Monitor site progress and resolve technical and operational issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company safety policies.
  • Attend project meetings, site inspections, and coordination meetings with stakeholders.
  • Prepare project progress reports, claims, variation orders, and other project documentation.
  • Manage project costs, procurement, and resource allocation effectively.
  • Lead and supervise project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in project management within the structural steel or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, and construction processes.
  • Good understanding of project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and quality management systems is an advantage.

Working Hours:

  • 5.5 day work week, 8am-525pm W-F, 8am-1200noon Sat (Alternate Saturday Off)
