Job Description:

• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, workstations, and food preparation areas.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen items promptly and thoroughly.
• Receive, unpack, and store deliveries according to food safety standards.
• Organize and replenish kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables properly and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with setting up and closing down kitchen operations.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or stock shortages to supervisors.
• Support the kitchen team with other duties as assigned.
