Position Title

Automation Engineer

Role Overview

The Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cognitive automation solutions that transform business process definitions into optimized and scalable intelligent solutions. The role leverages AI and automation technologies to deliver enhanced user experiences and operational efficiency.

This role requires a deep understanding of conversational AI, workflow orchestration, cognitive assistance capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Cognitive Solution Development

• Translate business process definitions into optimized cognitive automation solutions

• Design, develop, test, and deploy intelligent applications using AI technologies

• Build scalable and reusable automation components to support business operations

Conversational AI and Cognitive Services

• Develop and integrate solutions

• Implement conversational AI solutions

• Develop intelligent orchestration capabilities

• Configure and optimize prompts, workflows, and interaction patterns to improve user experience

Cognitive Assistance Accelerators

• Utilize Cognitive Assistance accelerators such as:

o Agent Assist

o User Assist

• Customize and enhance accelerator capabilities to address business requirements

• Ensure seamless integration with enterprise systems and workflows

Integration and Automation

• Develop APIs and integration components to connect cognitive solutions with enterprise applications

• Support workflow automation and orchestration initiatives

• Ensure scalability, maintainability, and reliability of implemented solutions

Collaboration and Delivery

• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions

• Participate in solution design, testing, deployment, and production support activities

• Contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing within the team

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience

• Experience in application development and cognitive automation solutions

• Experience in enterprise application integration and workflow automation
