About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and consultative Business Development Manager to drive growth for our Skills Science, HR Analytics, Workforce Intelligence, and Talent Assessment solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging with HR leaders, learning & development teams, workforce planners, and business leaders, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.
This role requires a strong understanding of talent management, workforce analytics, skills-based organizations, competency frameworks, assessment technologies, and HR technology ecosystems.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Sales
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across enterprise, government, education, and consulting sectors.
- Generate qualified leads through networking, partnerships, industry events, and digital channels.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
- Build relationships with CHROs, HR Heads, Talent Management Leaders, L&D Heads, Workforce Planning teams, and business executives.
- Develop account growth strategies and expand existing client relationships.
Solution Consulting
- Understand client challenges related to:
- Skills mapping and skills intelligence
- Workforce planning
- Talent mobility
- Competency management
- Learning effectiveness
- Employee capability development
- Organizational transformation
- Position Skills Science and HR Analytics solutions aligned to client needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations, discovery workshops, and solution presentations.
- Collaborate with consulting and analytics teams to design customized solutions.
HR Analytics & Workforce Intelligence
- Promote solutions involving:
- Workforce analytics
- Talent analytics
- Skills gap analysis
- Capability benchmarking
- Succession planning
- Learning analytics
- Predictive workforce insights
- Translate business requirements into analytics-driven value propositions.
Proposal & Partnership Development
- Prepare proposals, RFP responses, business cases, and commercial offers.
- Develop partnerships with HR consulting firms, universities, training providers, and technology partners.
- Participate in strategic alliances and channel partner development initiatives.
Market Intelligence
- Track industry trends in:
- Skills-based organizations
- Workforce transformation
- AI in HR
- Talent intelligence platforms

- Provide competitive insights and market feedback to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Analytics, Management, or related discipline.
- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in Business Development, Consulting Sales, HR Technology Sales, Talent Solutions, or Workforce Analytics.
