Responsibility and Authority:

1. Responsible for production to achieve production plan in respective line.
2. Responsible for training requirement for its subordinates.
3. Continuously work to reduce operating cost by optimizing resources.
4. Responsible for daily production target achievement of allocated area.
5. Ensure production quality standards are complied with.
6. Direct, control and motivate production staff in all aspects affecting work performance.
7. Provide production records and other performance indices to the Production Manager whenever required.
8. Ensure subordinates comply with the required procedures and instructions.
9. Liaise with QA on quality problems and take the necessary counter measures to prevent recurrences.
10. To report process malfunction to the Production Manager and liaise with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve the problem.
11. To liaise with Material/Production Planning, Personnel & Administration and concerned departments to ensure production goals are realized.

Qualification and Experience

1. Knowledge of computer is needed – Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word.
2. Min SPM (Form 5) or equivalent and with at least 3 years working experience.
3. Able to work in a team as well as independently.
4. Able to work in shift.
5. Ability to control and supervise subordinates.
