IDW Design & Build Hiring! Full Time Quantity Surveyor in Selangor - Ricebowl

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Quantity Surveyor role based in Shah Alam. The Quantity Surveyor will prepare and review Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents for interior design and build projects. The role involves monitoring project costs, performing cost planning and control, and updating cost reports throughout the project life cycle. The Quantity Surveyor will evaluate quotations, support procurement, and assist in contract administration and claims. The individual will collaborate closely with designers, project managers, suppliers, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget and aligned with the company’s quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong cost planning and cost management skills to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making.
• Proficiency in BOQ preparation, measurement, and documentation for interior design and build projects.
• Experience in cost control and cost reporting to track expenditures and manage project financial performance.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with construction and interior fit-out materials, methods, and market pricing.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts, with strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficient in relevant QS and office software (e.g., MS Excel, costing tools); attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
