Technical Engineer

Melaka | Full-Time | On-Site

Kotra Pharma is seeking a Technical Engineer to support machine reliability, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

* Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and perform root cause analysis.

* Monitor machine performance and implement preventive measures to improve efficiency.

* Handle machine setup, adjustment, testing, and commissioning activities.

* Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs.

* Coordinate maintenance requests and provide technical support to production teams.

* Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components.

* Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and engineering standards.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and operational performance.

* Provide technical guidance to assistant engineers and production personnel.

Requirements

* Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in machine maintenance, troubleshooting, or engineering support within a manufacturing environment.

* Strong knowledge of machine troubleshooting and maintenance.

* Familiar with preventive maintenance practices and production machinery operations.

* Knowledge of cGMP and safety practices in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
