Job Description

Responsibilities

This role is 100% fully on construction site.


Responsibilities

  • To accountable for the full spectrum of project and site related matters. This will include but not limit to core areas such as budgetary control, manpower assignment, quality and productivity management, checking of sub-contractor claims, site safety and health issues, site progress vs. construction schedule, time and any related site initiatives.
  • To attend all project site meetings with the client, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers, authorities, etc. and to ensure the smooth progress of the project.
  • Overall site planning, execution, coordination and management of project to ensure completion of works within required standards and specifications, quality, cost, safety requirement, contractual obligations and meet project deadlines and client’s expectations.
  • Lead a team of professional and technical staff in planning and execution of day-to-day operations.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Trouble shoot and problem solving to ensure smooth operation and delivery of project.




Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 year(s) of working experience in construction industry
  • Obtained the Certificate of Construction Manager (CCM) from CIDB will be an added advantage
  • Possess sound knowledge and experience in project planning, and building construction methodology & process and authority liaison
  • Able to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, suppliers and other relevant government authorities
  • Proficient in English and good knowledge of contracts and write good contractual and technical correspondences
  • Able to ensure all technical requirements & specifications are complied with, timely completion of project and within approved budgets
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Able to work independently and lead the project team.
