Role Overview

•Business Development leader within business unit

•Responsible for driving revenue growth, net new customers, and reference wins

•Hybrid role covering sales, market development, cloud solutions, and Microsoft partnership management

•Focus on building and executing long-term growth strategy across existing and new customer segments

•Drives cloud opportunities across Infrastructure, Security, AI, Data, and Applications


Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute business development strategy, supporting regional teams across Asia markets

•Identify and drive new business growth opportunities in collaboration with sales, solutions, and marketing teams

•Understand customer cloud and digital transformation needs to design aligned solution architectures

•Act as a trusted cloud advisor to customers, building long-term relationships and driving sales quota attainment

•Represent Microsoft internally to align strategy, partnership direction, and performance improvement

•Share market insights, industry trends, and competitive intelligence with internal sales and enablement teams

•Build and manage ecosystem partnerships for joint go-to-market and demand generation initiatives

•Drive sales, adoption, and consumption of cloud solutions and services portfolio

•Conduct account planning with sales and pre-sales teams to identify opportunities and close strategic deals

•Support proposal development, solution sizing, and customer presentations at all levels


Time Allocation

•40%: Customer engagement and collaboration with sales/pre-sales to develop cloud opportunities, proposals, and solution designs

•40%: Joint initiatives with Microsoft teams to co-create programs across cloud, security, and modern workplace solutions, including leveraging partner incentives

•20%: Collaboration with regional and global teams on go-to-market strategy and market feedback


Experience Requirements

•Minimum 10 years’ experience in consultative selling and cloud business development

•Experience in Microsoft ecosystem and partner programs, tools, and incentives

•Proven track record of exceeding cloud sales targets and engaging senior/C-level stakeholders

•Experience working in matrix organizations with cross-functional teams

•Strong understanding of large-scale cloud transformation and infrastructure projects

•Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models (EA, CSP)

•Experience in hyperscaler ecosystem (Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)

•Background in cloud computing technologies and enterprise platforms

•Ability to act as a trusted technology advisor to enterprise customers

•Experience working with Microsoft or systems integrator partners (preferred)

•Microsoft certifications in Azure, Security, AI, or Microsoft 365 (preferred)
