Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Education

• Basic Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited medical university or medical school
• Successfully passed the medical licensing examination in the country where the degree was obtained

Clinical Training

• Completed a minimum of 12 months of Housemanship / Internship
• Must include:
• At least 3 months in Internal Medicine
• At least 3 months in General Surgery

Professional Registration

• Currently registered with the relevant medical council or licensing authority in the country where medical training was completed
• Must hold a valid licence to practise medicine

Clinical Experience

• Currently practising medicine
• Must have been in active clinical practice during the three years immediately preceding the application
• Relevant experience in the specialty/department being applied for is required

Language Requirement

• Must satisfy the English language requirements established by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 3–5 years of post-internship clinical experience
• Strong clinical foundation and patient management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Interest in developing a healthcare career within Singapore
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment
