Job Summary
We are seeking a structured and proactive Executive, Management Information System (MIS - Application) to manage the day-to-day operations and support of our business applications. In this role, you will troubleshoot system issues, coordinate with technical teams or vendors, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements. Serving as the vital bridge between business users and IT developers, you will ensure timely incident resolution within SLAs and maintain seamless business operations.
Job Responsibilitie
- sProvide day-to-day support for business applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests within defined SLAs
- .Troubleshoot and monitor system issues to ensure minimal disruption to business operations
- .Escalate complex application defects or infrastructure issues to relevant internal support teams or external vendors when required
- .Take ownership of assigned tickets from initiation to resolution, ensuring proper follow-through until closure and user confirmation
- .Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required to ensure continuity of business operations
- .Adapt effectively to an operational environment with changing priorities and occasional urgent incidents
- .Support system implementations, updates, and module deployments under guidance, including basic requirement gathering and system setup
- .Engage with business users to understand operational pain points and translate them into clear functional requirements for the technical team or vendor
- .Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, execution, issue tracking, and coordination of fixes
- .Manage and track incidents, defects, and change requests via the ticketing system
- .Prepare and maintain system documentation, including workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides
- .Identify and suggest opportunities to optimise system processes and improve overall user experience
