About the Role
We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team at J.K. Wire Harness Sdn. Bhd. in Johor Bahru, Johor. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient production of high-quality wire harnesses.
Supplier Quality Engineer,
Customer Services & Outstation
To fulfil customer requirement
All requirement state in Customer's Supplier Quality Manual.
To act as a Resident Engineer during new model's trial event at customer premise.
To troubleshoot quality issue occur at customer plant.
To troubleshoot warranty claim issue at customer service centre.
To meeting and discuss with customer for quality issue and new requirement.
For customer audit preparation.
Internal Task Force
New model development quality management.
New model development and initial start-up line monitor and follow up on quality issue:
Plan and monitor quality retention activities for new product development
In process defect analysis and monitoring
Abnormality management
Inspection standard management
Working procedure management
Direct in-charge for quality projects and quality improvement activities.
Fulfill quality requirement:
All quality core tools stated in IATF 16949 (Control plan/PPAP/Cpk/Ppk/MSA/APQP)
Part quality confirmation and determination
To prepare and determine inspection points for each part.
To prepare and determine inspection tools for each part.
To conduct quality issue, defect and abnormality analysis, stimulation test and corrective action.
To make, keep and revise quality standard operation procedure.
To supervise and monitor subordinate job arrangement.
To communicate and cooperate with each other departments in quality issue
To take contingency plan action for any abnormality incur at production line
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering , Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a ANY related field in Engineering.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer / Supplier Quality Engineer or in a similar role within the engineering industry
Proven experience in process improvement, root cause analysis, and problem-solving
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, tools, and automation technologies
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
