The Role
Cat Eye Productions is seeking a passionate, culturally aware, and highly creative Creative Producer to lead the development of ideas, stories, and presentations across projects from pitch to delivery.
This is a creative-first role for someone who loves branded content, actively consumes content across multiple platforms, and is constantly discovering new references, formats, creators, and storytelling techniques from around the world.
You are naturally curious, opinionated, and proactive. You know how to unpack a brief, identify the real opportunity behind it, and transform it into compelling stories, formats, and creative executions. You thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy collaborating with others, and can confidently defend your ideas while remaining adaptable to feedback.
You have a strong understanding of culture across Asia Pacific and beyond. Whether it's sport, entertainment, fashion, travel, technology, music, creators, or internet culture, you stay informed about what audiences are watching, sharing, and talking about across different markets. You naturally connect cultural insights and emerging trends to creative opportunities and brand storytelling.
You thrive under pressure and enjoy the challenge of tight deadlines, evolving briefs, and ambitious creative expectations. You are resilient, adaptable, and motivated by the pursuit of great work. Whether developing a pitch, treatment, script, or presentation, you bring energy, initiative, and a strong desire to win.
Most importantly, you don't wait to be told what to do. You actively contribute ideas, challenge assumptions, uncover fresh angles, and help elevate every project through strong research, storytelling, and cultural insight.
Key Responsibilities
- Dissect Briefs - Thoroughly analyze client briefs to identify and understand core objectives, target audiences, platforms, timelines, and project requirements.
- Research - Conduct in-depth research on industries, brands, audiences, talent, trends, cultural moments, and existing content to uncover insights and opportunities that inform creative development.
- Develop Ideas & Brainstorm - Conceptualize original ideas, formats, and creative approaches for pitches and productions across branded content, digital, social, documentary, and commercial projects. Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to refine ideas and adapt to feedback.
- Creative References & Moodboards - Continuously source and curate creative references, inspiration videos, case studies, and moodboards that help communicate creative direction, tone, style, and storytelling approach.
- Build Presentation Decks - Translate ideas into compelling visual narratives through pitch presentations, treatments, moodboards, and story documents. Clearly communicate concepts, creative direction, visual style, storytelling approach, and strategic thinking. You understand that a great idea is only as strong as its ability to be presented, sold, and understood.
- Develop Interview Questions & Conduct Pre-Interviews - Conduct research calls and pre-interviews to uncover compelling stories, characters, and insights. Develop interview questions and talking points that support the creative vision and project objectives.
- Scripting & Story Development - Develop beat sheets, treatments, AV scripts, interview frameworks, and editorial structures for projects that move into production.
- Storyboarding & Visual Development - Develop storyboards and visual concepts using traditional methods and AI-assisted tools to help bring creative ideas to life.
- Production Support - Collaborate with producers, directors, editors, and designers throughout development, pre-production, production, and post-production to ensure projects remain aligned with the creative vision.
- Talent Research - Research and recommend suitable talent, creators, athletes, experts, influencers, and celebrities that align with project objectives and resonate with target audiences.
- Creative Reviews - Collaborate with other team members to ensure the vision of the project is matching creative standards set out by the Executive Producer/ Director across all phases of production.
