Role Description This is a on-site Human Resources Payroll role based in Cyberjaya. The role involves preparing and processing monthly payroll, including salary calculations, overtime, allowances, deductions, and statutory contributions in line with Malaysian regulations. The position is responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, updating HR and payroll systems, and ensuring timely submission of statutory reports. The role also supports the administration of employee benefits, leave management, and HR documentation such as employment letters and confirmations. The individual will respond to payroll- and HR-related inquiries, assist with HR reporting, support audits and compliance checks, and collaborate with HR team members on process improvements and HR initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) with experience handling HR operational tasks and employee data.
  • Knowledge of HR Management and Personnel Management, including employee lifecycle processes and record-keeping.
  • Understanding of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, particularly in the context of Malaysian employment laws and statutory requirements.
  • Experience in payroll processing, including statutory contributions (e.g., EPF, SOCSO, EIS, income tax) and on-time salary administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS or payroll systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) for data management and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; relevant certifications in HR or payroll are an advantage.
