Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

With a minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience in the manufacturing industry, the candidate must be capable of leading a team and will be responsible for the following Human Resources and Administration functions:

  • Oversee day-to-day HR and administrative operations, including payroll processing, compensation and benefits, recruitment (IDL), employee engagement, and general HR administration.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including manpower planning, sourcing, interviewing, selection, onboarding, and orientation, to ensure timely fulfilment of manpower requirements.
  • Review payroll reports to ensure the accuracy of the Company’s overall payroll, and provide support for managerial-level payroll processing when required.
  • Review, maintain, and enhance staff salary structures and compensation and benefits packages to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Develop and define HR strategic plans for recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compensation management to address business needs and identified gaps.
  • Work closely with departmental managers to address HR-related matters, including manpower planning, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Monitor and guide team performance by providing direction and coaching to ensure duties are carried out effectively, efficiently, ethically, consistently, and transparently, in compliance with applicable employment laws, RBA-based codes, and customer requirements.
  • Establish, review, and maintain relevant HR policies, procedures, forms, and practices, ensuring effective communication, implementation, and execution.
  • Liaise with government authorities to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits related to Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER), ISO, Security, as well as all other customer audits, as required.
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Superior.

 


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or an equivalent qualification, with a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with proven experience in managing and developing teams, as well as driving employee engagement initiatives.
  • Proven experience in recruitment and talent acquisition, with hands-on experience in computerized HRMS and payroll systems.
  • Well-versed in Malaysian employment legislation, including the Employment Act 1955 and its amendments, as well as current labour practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and results-driven, with strong documentation, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good understanding of social compliance requirements, preferably aligned with RBA-based codes, and willing to travel outstation as required
