Job Overview

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Robotics Engineer to join a fast-growing robotics and automation team focused on Autonomous Ground Vehicles (AGV) development and commercialization.

This role covers end-to-end product development from design, prototyping, testing, and deployment of real-world autonomous systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate AGV systems (hardware + software)
• Develop and optimize navigation, path planning, and obstacle avoidance algorithms
• Work on sensor fusion using LiDAR, GPS, and IMU
• Build and test robotics prototypes; refine based on real-world performance
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams
• Support product commercialization and deployment activities
• Ensure systems meet safety and industry standards
• Prepare technical documentation and support client demonstrations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in robotics, AGV, or autonomous systems
• Strong hands-on experience with ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Proficient in C++ (Python is a plus)
• Experience in SLAM, navigation, and localization systems
• Familiar with sensor integration (LiDAR, GPS, IMU)
• Experience in industrial automation or warehouse robotics is an advantage
• Must have exposure to full product lifecycle (R&D to deployment/commercialization)
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in AGV/AMR or warehouse robotics
• Embedded systems or control systems knowledge
• Experience working in fast-paced product development environments

Pay: From RM5,000.00 per month
