About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Event Manager to manage and execute end-to-end events for clients across corporate and brand activations. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering events that run smoothly from concept to completion.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys fast-paced environments, problem-solving on the ground, and managing multiple event components at once.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of client events (corporate dinners, product launches, brand activations, roadshows, press events, etc.)
• Develop event concepts, run-of-show (ROS), floor plans, and timelines
• Source, negotiate, and manage vendors (AV, décor, catering, printing, photography, etc.)
• Prepare event budgets, cost sheets, and post-event reports
• Coordinate with internal creative teams on event branding and visual direction
• Handle emcee, talent, and speaker coordination and briefing
• Manage on-site event setup, logistics, and execution
• Liaise directly with clients throughout planning and execution phases
• Coordinate event content capture for social media and post-event reporting
• Maintain and grow a reliable vendor database

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in event management (agency or in-house)
• Experience managing events of varying scale and complexity
• Strong vendor management experience within Klang Valley preferred
• Good project management skills (timelines, Gantt charts, coordination tools)
• Strong communication and client servicing skills
• Ability to work under pressure and handle last-minute changes calmly
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace

Nice to Have

• Experience in corporate teambuilding or HRDF-claimable events
• Existing network of vendors, emcees, and event talent
• Basic understanding of social media content capture

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
