Risk Ops Analyst (Consumer Risk & Quality)Company Overview

Role Overview

This is a frontline defence role within our Risk Management function. You will monitor fraud intelligence, conduct research, and act as a subject matter expert for fraud, safety, and identity risk domains. You will collaborate closely with product, analytics, data science, and business teams to implement risk mitigation solutions and protect the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and gather fraud intelligence to conduct deep fraud research.
• Conduct fraud verification on reported activities through the FairPlay Program.
• Gather ground intelligence on common fraud schemes and support active market investigations.
• Review tickets and engage with country partner quality teams to build profiles on suspect players and fraud methods.
• Drive continuous improvements in fraud detection through detailed data research.
• Partner with engineering, data science, and product teams to optimize risk controls and minimize manual reviews.
• Report factual, data-driven insights to senior and executive management clearly.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in fraud risk management, preferably within FinTech, e-commerce, strategy, consulting, or analytics.
• Strong understanding of fraud, payments, e-commerce, risk policy development, or risk enforcement.
• Proven stakeholder management experience, including working with senior executives.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a positive, constructive attitude.
• Ability to handle ambiguity and make sound decisions in fast-changing environments.
• Strong data-driven mindset with advanced Excel skills for deep-dive analysis.
• Experience with SQL and dashboard tools like Tableau or PowerBI is a plus.

Position Details

• Location: 1 First Avenue, Petaling Jaya
• Salary: RM 4,000 per month
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Pay: Up to RM4,000.00 per month
