JOB SCOPE
To provide comprehensive support to restaurant operations by coordinating operational initiatives, projects, and cross-functional activities that drive restaurant performance, compliance, and operational excellence. The role serves as a key liaison between restaurants and support functions to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives, effective communication, and timely resolution of operational matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Restaurant Support & Operations
- Provide responsive support to restaurant teams, addressing day-to-day operational queries and ensuring adherence to SOPs and service standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to facilitate timely resolution of restaurant-related issues.
- Support the implementation of operational policies, procedures, and business initiatives across restaurants.
- Facilitate the rollout of operational programs by ensuring clear communication and operational readiness.
- Monitor operational compliance and performance indicators, escalating concerns to the appropriate stakeholders where necessary.
- Compile and analyze operational data, prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend practical solutions to enhance restaurant efficiency and service delivery.
2. Project Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate and monitor operational projects and initiatives from planning through execution to ensure timely completion.
- Track project milestones, action items, risks, and deliverables, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Organize project meetings, prepare agendas, meeting minutes, and follow up on agreed actions.
- Support pilot programs, operational trials, and business improvement initiatives across restaurant operations.
- Maintain project documentation, communication plans, and implementation schedules.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives, timelines, and operational requirements.
- Assist in preparing business cases, project reports, and management presentations.
3. Additional Responsibilities
- Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Manager or Management from time to time, in line with business needs.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in restaurant operations, project coordination, business support, or a restaurant support centre environment.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional projects and stakeholders is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations in a multi-unit environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and reporting tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
