Job Description

Responsibilities

STORE KEEPER

Job Purpose

To manage the receiving, storage, issuance, and control of all inventory and materials, ensuring stock accuracy, proper documentation, and smooth warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Inventory Control

Maintain accurate stock records and inventory balances.

Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess stock.

Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts.

Investigate and report stock discrepancies.

2. Receiving Goods

Receive incoming materials, products, and supplies.

Verify quantity and condition against Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders, and invoices.

Ensure all received items are properly recorded and stored.

3. Issuing Goods

Issue stock only against approved requests.

Ensure all stock movements are properly documented.

Update inventory records immediately upon issuance.

4. Store Organization

Arrange and label inventory systematically.

Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping of the store.

Ensure materials are stored safely and can be easily located.

5. Documentation and Reporting

Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), stock cards, and inventory reports.

Keep proper records of all stock transactions.

Prepare stock reports as required by management.

6. Security and Compliance

Safeguard company inventory and assets.

Prevent unauthorized removal of stock.

Comply with company SOPs, policies, and safety requirements.

7. Physical and Operational Duties

Able to perform manual and physical work.

Assist in loading, unloading, carrying, and arranging goods.

Able to lift and move stock safely.

Willing to work in warehouse, store, and production environments.

Assist other departments when required.

Requirements

* Minimum SPM or equivalent.

* Experience in storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory management is an advantage.

* Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.

* Responsible, trustworthy, and disciplined.

* Good attention to detail and accuracy.

* Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

* Strong follow-up and organizational skills.

* Physically fit and able to perform hands-on work.

* Inventory accuracy of at least 98%.

* Proper filing and maintenance of store records.

* Minimal stock discrepancies and losses.

* Good housekeeping and organization of the store.

Mon to Fri 9pm -6pm

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
