About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and hardworking Cook to join our F&B team. You will be stationed at either our Astro (Bukit Jalil) or BAM (Bukit Kiara) outlets, playing a key role in daily kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, and maintaining high hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present food according to standard recipes and daily menus.
• Ensure consistent food quality, taste, and portion control.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area, equipment, and utensils.
• Assist with inventory control, stock checking, and minimizing food wastage.
• Comply strictly with food safety, sanitation, and Halal guidelines at all times.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cook, Commis, or Kitchen Helper in a cafe or restaurant setting.
• Good understanding of basic cooking methods, ingredient preparation, and kitchen equipment.
• Punctual, responsible, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a valid Typhoid vaccination and Food Handling Certificate (or willing to obtain them upon hiring).
• Must be able to commute to either Bukit Jalil or Bukit Kiara.
