Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Head of the Personalised Learning Programme (PLP) in supporting students with special educational needs.
- Supervise PLP students and engage them in developmentally appropriate learning and recreational activities as directed by the Head of PLP.
- Support teachers in preparing classroom materials and providing in-class assistance.
- Provide English as an Additional Language (EAL) support to students requiring assistance with reading and language development.
- Act as a relief teacher when required during a teacher's absence.
- Assist with the daily arrival and dismissal of students, including escorting students between the school bus drop-off point and the school.
- Monitor student attendance and bus attendance records.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and well-being of students within the school environment.
- Carry out student supervision duties during recess, playtime, and other school activities.
- Assist with the distribution of students' lunch boxes.
- Support the organisation and execution of school events, enrichment programmes, and holiday camps.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of School or Management.
Requirements
- Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (L1 and L2) or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience working with children with diverse learning needs, including students with special educational needs.
- Prior experience in a childcare centre, student care centre, or school environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Caring, patient, and passionate about supporting children's learning and development.
- Able to commence work at short notice.
Pay: $2,400.00 - $2,600.00 per month
