Job Title: HVAC Engineer (Oil & Gas)
Role Summary:
Responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of HVAC systems for oil & gas facilities, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operation in hazardous environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design HVAC systems for offshore/onshore plants, control rooms, and hazardous areas
- Perform cooling/heating load calculations and equipment sizing
- Prepare and review layouts, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, API, ISO, NFPA)
- Coordinate with process, electrical, and mechanical teams
- Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Address ventilation requirements for hazardous and classified areas
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 3-5 years' experience as a HVAC Engineer working in Oil and Gas projects
- 5-10 years' experience in HVAC and Mechanical Engineering in Oil and Gas projects
- Knowledge of HVAC design software (e.g., HAP, TRACE, AutoCAD)
- Familiarity with hazardous area classification and safety standards
- Strong understanding of international codes and project requirements
