Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Description IPP Financial Advisers Pte Ltd is Singapore’s most complete licensed financial adviser, with over 40 years of experience in Asia since its founding in 1983. The firm is recognized as a pioneer in comprehensive financial planning and is known for its strong regional reputation for knowledge, objective advice, and consistent service. IPP places emphasis on delivering best-interest advice and ongoing client relationships rather than focusing solely on product implementation. Clients are supported by an in-house Investment Division that continuously analyzes global markets, funds, and economic data. IPP currently has more than $2 billion in assets under advice and serves over 50,000 clients worldwide.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Wealth Management Advisor role based in Singapore. The Wealth Management Advisor will engage with clients to understand their financial goals, risk profiles, and life-stage needs, and provide suitable recommendations across wealth accumulation, protection, and legacy planning. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and presenting comprehensive financial and retirement plans, reviewing portfolios, and monitoring investment performance with support from the in-house Investment Division. The role involves conducting regular client reviews, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards, and maintaining accurate documentation. The Advisor will also participate in business development activities, including networking, client referrals, and educational sessions, to build and grow a sustainable client base.

Qualifications

  • Strong capabilities in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning, with the ability to translate client objectives into clear, actionable plans.
  • Sound knowledge of Investments and Finance, including understanding of global markets, risk management, and portfolio construction.
  • Proven experience delivering Wealth Management Services, such as advisory on wealth accumulation, protection, and legacy or estate planning.
  • Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, ChFC, CFA, or equivalent) are advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills, with a client-centric mindset and high ethical standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Familiarity with financial advisory regulations in Singapore and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
