Business Development Manager (Renewable Energy) - with a European MNC Salary 5K, 1K of car allowance, var bonus

The Business Development Manager (Renewable Energy) involves managing, planning, and controlling the sales and promotion of the company’s product portfolio within an assigned area. He/ She is for all of the company’s activities, which include sales, technical service, customer service, direct expenses control and personnel planning and development

Key responsibilities include:

• Sales Management & Strategy: Apply the Sales Effectiveness Program (SEP), manage and optimize stock levels, monitor outstanding debts to minimize bad debt risks, and use CRM (C4C) to track pipelines and sales data.
• Customer Relationship Management: Understand customer business and structure to provide effective technical and commercial solutions, build rapport with key accounts, and maintain high confidence in the Lapp brand.
• Team Leadership & Development: Train sales staff, provide commercial/technical support, conduct regular performance reviews, and foster a fair and productive working environment.
• Operational & Market Duties: Oversee warehouse stock/inventory, ensure timely reporting, coordinate with other departments, supervise supplier relationships, and manage regional projects.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor and report on competitor activities (products, pricing, and organizational changes) on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management/Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 3-4 years’ similar experience in industrial sales.
• Experience in the field of Renewable Energy Sales ( Solar PV related will be added advance)
• Sales experience required ( Commercial skills in dealing with large contracts will be added advantage)
