Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate restaurant assistant manager to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth operations at Ushidoki Wagyu Kaiseki, a renowned Japanese restaurant in Downtown Tanjong Pagar.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests warmly, guide them to tables, and ensure their dining experience exceeds expectations
• Provide attentive table service by serving dishes and promptly addressing guests’ needs
• Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to offer informed recommendations to customers
• Set up and break down the dining area, ensuring cleanliness, adequate stock, and high presentation standards
• Collaborate and communicate closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and timely dish delivery
• Support the restaurant manager in daily operational tasks and complete additional duties as needed

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a senior service or supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-end restaurant setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage customers professionally and warmly
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings
• A positive, collaborative attitude and genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
