Role Description

The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects on time, within scope, and within budget. This role ensures that IT initiatives align with business objectives while coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project lifecycles from initiation to completion.

The position involves defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements. The IT Project Manager develops detailed project plans and ensures all stakeholders are aligned on expectations and priorities.

A key responsibility includes managing project execution by coordinating developers, engineers, analysts, vendors, and business stakeholders. The role ensures effective communication, task tracking, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.

The IT Project Manager also monitors project progress, manages risks, resolves issues, and ensures that milestones are achieved. The role uses project management tools and methodologies to maintain control over scope, schedule, and budget.

In addition, the position is responsible for stakeholder communication, providing regular project updates, reports, and performance insights to leadership and clients. The role ensures transparency and alignment across all levels of the organization.

The role may also oversee Agile or Waterfall methodologies, manage change requests, and ensure proper documentation and quality assurance standards are maintained throughout project delivery.

The IT Project Manager collaborates closely with technical teams, product owners, and business units to deliver successful technology solutions that support organizational goals. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills are essential.
