About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer with a strong background in Marine, Offshore, FPSO, and E-House projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for structural engineering design, analysis, project coordination, technical reviews, and commissioning support throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires extensive experience in offshore structural design, steel structures, and multidisciplinary project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary structural engineering interface between the client, authorities, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Perform structural design and engineering for offshore and marine projects, including E-Houses, substations, load calculations, transportation studies, lifting analyses, and fastening designs.
- Develop and optimize E-House structural designs considering safety requirements, escape routes, and mechanical handling provisions.
- Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with applicable international codes and standards.
- Review architectural requirements, fire-rating specifications, steel material properties, welding standards, and construction details.
- Deliver structural engineering packages, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation within project schedules.
- Support bid preparation, technical evaluations, and tender activities.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Project Management, Mechanical, Construction, Procurement, Documentation, and Commissioning teams.
- Monitor engineering progress and provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning phases.
- Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and project meetings with stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications, industry regulations, and international standards.
- Manage technical deviations, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective actions.
- Support site activities and commissioning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Promote and maintain safety-in-design principles and safe work practices throughout project execution.
Required QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Structural Engineering within Marine, Offshore, FPSO, Oil & Gas, or Energy sectors.
- Proven experience in E-House, Offshore Platform, or Modular Building projects.
- Experience working on large-scale industrial or offshore infrastructure projects.
