Job Summary

The Parts Assistant is responsible for supporting the Parts Department in managing inventory, handling parts transactions, assisting technicians, and ensuring the timely availability of genuine Proton parts to support service and repair operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management
• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming parts deliveries.
• Organize and store parts according to company standards.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the system.
• Conduct regular stock counts and assist in stock audits.
• Parts Issuance and Distribution
• Issue parts to technicians based on approved job orders.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all parts issued and returned.
• Monitor parts usage and report discrepancies.
• Ordering and Procurement Support
• Assist in preparing parts replenishment orders.
• Monitor stock levels and notify the Parts Executive when reordering is required.
• Follow up on outstanding parts orders and backorders.
• Warehouse and Storekeeping
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts store.
• Ensure proper labeling and storage of all parts.
• Follow inventory control procedures to prevent loss or damage.
• Documentation and Reporting
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and transactions.
• Prepare reports as required by management.
• Ensure all documentation complies with Proton and company requirements.
• Compliance and Safety
• Adhere to Proton policies, dealership procedures, and company SOPs.
• Comply with workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Parts Department.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
