Job Purpose:

The candidate is responsible for software testing tasks which encompasses Test Strategy, Test Plan and Test Specification generation during project study phase. He/she is expected to work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, System Analyst and Development teams to ensure product or project requirements are understood correctly and may influence the product or modules design to be testable.

Responsibilities:

• Detailed root cause analysis of issues to the extent of identifying anomalies in the code, network and databases, verify and provide findings prior to raising the Defect/Problem Reports (PR).
• Ensure the timely delivery of testing milestones.
• Test a complex module with minimal supervision or review.
• Review System Test Specifications and the work of junior test engineers.
• Review Test plans and Testing of large modules and systems.
• Ensure User acceptance of customer deliveries on a customer site and dealing with customer issues.
• Take responsibility for Test Life Cycle
• Effectively convey product and testing requirements to the members of the testing and product development team.
• Accountable for assigned project deliverables, including test reporting (test statistics, measurement, etc) to the reporting manager when required
• Development and maintenance of test best practices with other test team members. Ensure Test best practices followed on all projects.
• Assist in developing/deploying test processes and methodologies.
• Comply with existing quality and testing standards.

Requirement:

• Over 5 years' experience in the Software Testing in diversified Domains and technologies (manual and automation)
• Test Strategy and Test Plan creation.
• Analytical skills – ability to understand detailed or abstract processes and perform effective knowledge capture.
