Key Responsibilities:
As a Junior Electrical & Software Engineer, you will bring advanced semiconductor equipment to life through intelligent automation and control. You will activelyensure seamless interaction between electrical and software components.
Working within defined modules, you will ensure compliance, reliability, and cost awareness at every step. You will contribute to system architecture decisions, participate in structured risk assessments, and help build robust, production-ready automation solutions.
In close collaboration with mechanical, electrical, process, and manufacturing teams, you will turn multidisciplinary concepts into seamless machine behavior — enabling precision, efficiency, and innovation on the factory floor.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement programmable logic controller structures and automation architectures for typical machine modules
- Translate system and subsystem requirements into clear, testable control specifications
- Design and maintain electrical schematics for control cabinets and machine wiring using E-Plan
- Develop main and auxiliary power distribution concepts in line with load, protection and safety requirements
- Support integration of motion, vacuum, thermal, and power distribution subsystems from an electrical and software perspective
- Apply structured problem-solving methods such as root cause analysis and eight disciplines to technical issues
- Participate in failure mode and effects analysis and document risks and mitigation actions
- Manage engineering changes within product lifecycle management processes and ensure proper configuration
- Create and maintain electrical schematics using E-Plan and support related enterprise resource planning transactions
- Analyze engineering data using Excel or scripting tools to support technical decisions
- Coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth system integration
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or related field
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in automation or machine control engineering
- Solid understanding of programmable logic controllers, motion control, and control architecture
- Solid understanding of power distribution, protection concepts and electrical safety
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, temperature control, and process fundamentals (pressure, flow, energy)
- Familiarity with international engineering and safety standards such as ISO, CE, and SEMI
- Practical understanding of vacuum, thermal and process fundamentals
- Experience with structured problem solving, risk assessment, and requirements management
- Proficiency in E-Plan and basic understanding of enterprise resource planning systems
