EI Power Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Solar Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team. This role offers the opportunity to work on commercial, industrial, and utility-scale solar PV projects across Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, engineering, and execution of Solar PV projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and project documentation.
• Coordinate project activities with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Support site installation, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Ensure compliance with SEDA, TNB, and relevant industry standards.
• Monitor project progress, quality, safety, and technical performance.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and junior engineers.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar PV engineering or project execution.
• Valid SEDA GCPV certification is required.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, or utility-scale solar projects.
• Familiar with solar PV design software such as PVsyst, Helioscope, or AutoCAD.
• Strong communication and project coordination skills.
• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Experience

• Large Scale Solar (LSS) projects.
• Net Energy Metering (NEM) projects.
• Grid-connected Solar PV systems.
• BEM registration or Professional Engineer status is an advantage.
