Role Overview
As a Business Development Executive, your primary mission will be to boost company sales, identify new commercial opportunities, and expand our market share. You will be the face of Belt-Tech, bridging the gap between our engineering solutions and industrial clients. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hunter mindset who thrives on building long-term B2B relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify, prospect, and secure new B2B clients across target industries to expand Belt-Tech's market share.
- Sales Generation: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from cold calling and lead generation to technical pitching, negotiation, and closing deals to meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients, understanding their evolving engineering needs and upselling relevant solutions.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new growth avenues and product demands.
- Technical Consultation: Work closely with our internal technical/engineering teams to present tailored product solutions and proposals to clients.
- Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market feedback to the HR and management team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or industrial sales (experience in engineering supplies, hardware, or manufacturing sectors is highly advantageous).
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: * Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with engineers, procurement managers, and C-level executives.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work autonomously.
- Mobility: Possess a valid driver’s license and own transport, as regular travel for client visits is required.
