• Responsible for core accounting tasks, including providing accounting advisory to business units, supporting closing and reporting activities, and ensuring compliance with disclosure requirements for Group subsidiaries.
• Manage full sets of accounts, including preparation and posting of journals, conducting monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss analysis, and handling intercompany transactions, reconciliations, bank statements, forex revaluation, and petty cash.
• Support in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Support in statutory audits, including the preparation of financial statements and supporting documents, addressing audit queries, and tracking post-audit follow-ups.
• Prepare various reports and reconciliations for both statutory and internal management use.
• Support knowledge sharing by training peers on journal entries and reconciliation processes within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).
• Act as a point of reference for accounting processes and assist in training finance team members.
• Maintain and update standard operating procedures and desk guides to reflect the latest practices.
• Perform regular reviews of assigned work to ensure adherence to accounting policies and internal controls.
• Other tasks assigned by superior from time-to-time.

Qualifications & Experience

• Possess at least Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Qualification with a strong accounting background
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in supporting General Ledger operations, experience in handling full set of accounts and/or preparing financial statement
• Previous experience and knowledge in Finance Shared Services environment will be an added advantage.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and relevant statutory requirements.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Anaplan will be an added advantage.

*Contract role: 12 months

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
