Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Wiring & Hardware Installation Technician to join our technical team.
This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy site work, tools, wiring, installation, and practical hands-on work.
The candidate may also be required to drive a company lorry for project tools, equipment, and material delivery. Candidates with existing GDL license will have an advantage. Candidates without GDL may also apply, but must be willing to take GDL after joining if selected.
Training will be provided for CCTV, door access, barrier gate, and security system installation.
Candidates with experience in aircond installation, fibre internet installation, auto gate, alarm system, electrical helper, renovation work, factory maintenance, lorry driving, or general site installation work are encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in CCTV, door access, barrier gate, and security system installation
- Pull cables, install trunking, conduit, and cable protection
- Perform drilling, mounting, and basic hardware installation
- Install CCTV cameras, readers, exit buttons, locks, power supply boxes, and related accessories
- Assist senior technician with wiring, termination, testing, and troubleshooting
- Assist with loading and unloading project tools, equipment, and materials
- Drive company vehicle or lorry when qualified and assigned
- Keep installation work neat, safe, and properly labelled
- Take site photos and submit basic installation reports
- Follow project instructions, safety rules, and company installation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and basic condition of company vehicle, tools, and equipment
- Work at customer sites around Klang Valley and other project locations when required
Requirements
- Hands-on person who is willing to do site installation work
- Able to use basic tools such as drill, grinder, screwdriver, tester, ladder, etc.
- Basic wiring or installation experience is an advantage
- Experience in CCTV, door access, alarm, auto gate, fibre, electrical, aircond, renovation, maintenance, or lorry driving is welcome
- Valid car driving license is preferred
- GDL license is an advantage
- Candidates without GDL must be willing to attend GDL course/exam after joining if selected
- Responsible, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to follow instructions and work in a team
- Physically fit for site installation, loading, unloading, and outdoor work
- Must have own transport to travel to company office
Training Provided
You will be trained step by step in:
- CCTV installation
- Network cable termination
- Door access system wiring
- Lock and reader installation
- Barrier gate accessory wiring
- Basic system testing
- Site reporting and handover checklist
- Company lorry handling procedure when qualified
GDL Support
For suitable candidates, the company may support the process to obtain GDL after joining, subject to job performance, eligibility, and company approval.
Candidates must be willing to attend the required course, medical check, and examination where applicable.
