Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:
• Supervise warehouse workers, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure workers are adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Motivate and lead teams to maintain a high level of productivity and morale.
• Inventory Control:
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are stored properly.
• Oversee stock counting, ensure accurate records, and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement inventory management systems to streamline processes.
• Logistics and Operations:
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Plan and manage storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Optimize workflows and ensure the warehouse operates efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor the proper handling of hazardous materials, and ensure all employees follow safety protocols.
• Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare and maintain reports on inventory, shipments, and staff performance.
• Handle administrative duties, such as order processing, documentation, and communication with other departments.

• Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and optimize warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

• Education: A high school diploma is typically required; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business is a plus.
• Experience: Several years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with at least some supervisory experience.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory software, and basic computer skills.
