Role Description The Area Manager is a full-time, on-site position based in Johor Baharu, responsible for overseeing daily operations across assigned branches or territories. This role includes managing sales performance, monitoring service quality, and ensuring consistent customer experience in line with company standards. The Area Manager will coach and support branch teams, set targets, review performance reports, and implement action plans to improve results. Responsibilities also include coordinating marketing or promotional activities in the area, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role requires regular visits to branches, close collaboration with senior management, and proactive problem-solving to address operational issues and customer concerns.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-branch or area management, preferably in the automotive, retail, or service industry.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities, including coaching, performance management, and team development.
• Solid understanding of sales operations, customer service principles, and basic financial metrics (e.g., revenue, margins, budgeting).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams and customers.
• Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and make informed decisions to drive operational improvements.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple locations.
• Comfort with using office software and basic digital tools (e.g., spreadsheets, CRM or sales tracking systems).
• Minimum of a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned area and work on-site in Johor Baharu.
• Experience in automotive sales or service operations is an advantage, as is proficiency in additional languages commonly used in the region.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month

• Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Management: 3 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
